Role Overview
This role is ideal for a Senior Data Engineer with expertise in distributed systems, proficiency in GoLang, Python, SQL-based DBMS, and a strong understanding of the Linux DevOps toolchain. Candidates will thrive in an environment focused on improving internet traffic performance through innovative solutions and scalable data processing. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining large-scale data pipelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and automating key processes for real-time data operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and maintain scalable data pipelines for data-intensive distributed systems.
- Optimize, debug, and abstract customer network setups for real-time data processing.
- Automate data-loading procedures and improve testing automation practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient data operations.
- Build scalable and generic solutions for customer network challenges.
Qualifications & Skills
- 3+ years of experience in data-intensive distributed systems.
- Proficient in scripting and object-oriented programming (GoLang, Python, Bash, C++).
- Experience with SQL-based DBMS and familiarity with the GNU/Linux DevOps toolchain.
- Solid experience with CI/CD using GitLab, Docker, and related tools.
- Familiarity with monitoring, reporting, and alerting tools like Graylog, Kibana, and Bonfire.
